 “Watershed” is a study in opposing forces. There are those who talk about how incredible this job opportunity is for Beckett and there is Castle inadvertently reminding her how incredible they are together. If there’s a single image from the show that can best represent this episode, it would be the moment when Beckett tosses out the coffee that Castle gave her the day before and it splashes violently across the divide of the sink, dashing both sides of the sink with the symbolic imagery.

This is the divide, a branching of choices that will change everyone’s lives for better or worse. (See what I did there?)

“Watershed” is perhaps the most introspective episode we’ve ever gotten. Interestingly, for an episode so heavily centered on where Castle and Beckett’s relationship is going, a large bulk of the significant progress occurs during conversations with their respective confidantes. I’m going to walk through this nearly scene for scene because this is one of those rare episodes where almost every moment is significant.

Quit while you’re ahead. The only one I see being a crybaby asshole is you. Complaining about someone who you have no business judging. Who do you think YOU are to drive someone away from the Castle fandom simply because YOU don’t like them? How old are you again? Oh that’s right you didn’t have the guts to reveal yourself.

Well, let me tell you something about this so called “crybaby asshole” of an author you described. You may not like her or enjoy her stories but I do. Last time I checked I was the one with a twitter where I rec’d some of MY fave fics and I’ll be damned if I help some immature CRYBABY ASSHOLE drive this author out of the fandom.

I hope that answers your question as to whether I will help you or not. Next time keep all this stupid immature crap out of my tumblr please. I could care less if you follow me or unfollow me just do us both a favor and shut the hell up!

  • Ryan Murphy:

    Beckett finds out about Castle's secret, gets angry and sings "Rolling in the deep". Castle's standing next to her, looking sad and disappointed, they break up their partnership. Castle leaves for the Hamptons. Beckett knocks on Josh's door, they have sex.

  • Hart Hanson:

    Beckett finds out about Castle's secret, gets angry and focuses on paperwork. She finally realizes how much she loves him and goes to his loft. She knocks on his door, looks at him longingly and gets pregnant.

  • Shonda Rhimes:

    Beckett finds out about Castle's secret, but doesn't get angry, because she's so in love with him. They go back to the Precinct. There's a shooting and everybody dies.

LoL yes, you can recommend me stories you have found to be amazing. I can’t promise i’ll forward the recommendation but i promise to read it if i havent already. For the most part i already read 90% of the fics that are out there posted on fanfic.net and livejournal so theres still that 10% that i have yet to check it out. I follow your feed on twitter for the Castle fic and I'm wondering if you've ever read anything by cassievalentine? I'm head over heels in love with Maybe This Time and her newest fic, Blackbird, is pretty good too.

Surprisingly i have not yet read Maybe This Time and I’ve never seen Blackbird. I’ll be sure to check it out and give it a chance though. I do have a soft spot for AU stories.
